Working in democracies in transition, I have seen many dedicated and enthusiastic activists and advocates who wanted to see change, and who were capable of becoming new, responsible leaders of tomorrow driving the change. I believe in people.
For 15 years, I have lived my passion for democracy and human rights. I helped develop policies and good practices in political accountability, parliamentary ethics, gender equality and political participation. My commitment was recognized through an award for outstanding achievements in promoting democratic development and for leadership in guiding the U.S. Government’s democracy assistance efforts in Ukraine. I am a 2009 Stanford University Draper Hills Fellow for Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law, and a graduate of the Stanford’s University Leadership Academy for Development. I advise the Responsible Leadership Academy on ways to make the dreams and aspirations of people in organizations a reality.
